You will interface with the business to scope and design the Business Intelligence reporting function and data sources.

The role of the Business Intelligence Manager is to connect the various business systems and data silos to deliver smooth business operations and a joined-up view of all our business data. This enables holistic business analysis, reporting of vital KPIs and using data to assess market opportunities.
The BI Manager will act as a champion for the effective use of business data within the organisation.
They will act as a conduit from the Senior Management Team to the Business Intelligence function
They will assist in defining the architecture and relationships of the company systems and work to eradicating any potential silos of data.
Engaging with management around the business to understand and help shape the data reporting potential for the organisation.
Contributing to the effective Data Governance of business data. This includes data quality, data management, data policies, business process management, and risk management surrounding the handling of business data.
Consider how to increase connectivity between systems, build automated workflows and data checks to constantly improve the smooth running, data integrity and accurate reporting.
The Business Intelligence Manager should have extensive experience in Business Intelligence development within a commercial environment, including having managed a team of developers or analysts
The Business Intelligence Manager should have demonstrable interaction with Board Level sponsors.
The Business Intelligence Manager will have worked with customers at all levels of business and it is vital that they can demonstrate having worked with these customers to gather requirements and translate them into solutions using the necessary skills.
It is preferable that the MI Manager should have experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools; SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI and MS SQL Server, however, we will considerable candidates who have worked within different technology stacks and are able to transfer their skills
£40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits
